Dr Pandit has published widely and authored several books including, ‘Shakti in Indian Archaeology, Art, Literature and Philosophy’, and ‘Stories in Stone’. He specialises in the art, architecture and history of the cave systems in Western India and was credited most recently for the discovery of seven caves in Kanheri, at the sprawling Sanjay Gandhi National Park. Dr Pandit is visiting faculty at several institutions like the Sathaye College, SNDT University and LJNJ College and lectures extensively at other academic institutions and forums too.
